Modern oil painting
full of light and atmosphere
Original artworks full of color, joy of life, and small moments of pleasure
ART THAT GROWS FROM PASSION
I have built up my knowledge of painting autodidactically over many years, accompanied by specialist literature, workshops, and exchanges with other artists. From an early stage, I focused on oil painting, as it still offers me the greatest expressive power today and remains at the center of my artistic work.
My distance learning course in art and painting (2018–2020) had a particular influence on me, deepening my development and lastingly sharpening my eye for material, color, and composition.
As a member of the Potsdam Art Association (Potsdamer Kunstverein e. V.), I actively contribute my passion for oil painting to exchanges with other artists and contribute to the diversity of the local art scene with my original oil paintings.
BETWEEN DECISION AND PRESENCE
My painting does not seek the academic, but the essential.
Not perfection, but presence.
Not the effect, but the quiet impact of a moment.
The subject serves as a starting point for painterly decisions regarding color, tone, and materiality. I work predominantly alla prima. Brushstrokes remain visible and transitions lively.
For me, a painting is coherent when it carries—not when it is controlled.
THE ART OF ENJOYING EVERYDAY LIFE
Everyday scenes, small moments, and nature are my most important sources of inspiration. From them, original oil paintings emerge that make enjoyment, tranquility, and the joy of life visible.
Each painting captures a quiet moment and translates it into color, light, and form.
These works give your home a special atmosphere and leave room for personality.
ART FOR THE WALLS, RELAXATION FOR THE SOUL
My oil paintings create calm accents and invite you to pause for a moment. They accompany everyday life without overwhelming it – quiet, present, and with a sense for fine details.
A glance is enough to slow down the rhythm and give the room a personal touch.
Meine Kunstwerke bringen Farbe, Atmosphäre und ein Stück Persönlichkeit in Dein Zuhause.
ABOUT ME
