For my paintings, I work with oil paints on various painting surfaces. Depending on the motif, I use MDF, wood board, canvas, or gesso board. Visible brushstrokes, rich colors, and the play of light and shadow characterize my painting style.

Preparation of Painting Surfaces

Oil paints & painting technique

Depending on the subject, I paint on MDF, wood board, canvas, or gessoboard. Each painting surface brings its own unique effect.

Before I start painting, I carefully prepare my painting surfaces. This creates the perfect foundation for color and brushstrokes.

I paint with oil paints and enjoy working alla prima. Visible brushstrokes and rich colors give my paintings their lively character.
